- Categories may change, split, merge or be cancelled on the day,
based on the
number of entrants.
- Individual category entry fee is £7,
Individual team entry is £5
(£10 for a team of 2).Maximum entry total is capped at £12, so enter 4
categories and only pay £12. If you split your entries over multiple
versions
of this form, you will likely pay more than the
capped minimum as
1 invoice is generated per
form.
- For any Team events you will need to specify
your team name and
team members. Only 1 team kata can be
entered.
- For any Freestyle events you will need to
ensure you have the
correct protection to enter on the
day
-For Junior Kumite:Own gum shield
not mandatory if wearing face-guard. Red/blue mitts / head gear with
face-guard / shin & instep protection / body-protection mandatory, own or
provided by ESKA.
-For Cadet /
Adult Kumite:Own gum shield mandatory. Own box mandatory
(Male)
Head-guard mandatory for cadets, own or provided
by ESKA, Cadets 13-15 also mandatory face-shield and
body protection. Own red/blue mitts can be used,or provided by
ESKA. Shin/instep and chest protector
(Female) mandatory,
own or can be provided by ESKA.
-Note: All head contact will be penalised. Please ensure you understand the rules regarding points and penalties.
-Kata
Details:Only Shotokan Kata's permitted. Kata's can be repeated
between rounds for Kyu grades,
no repeat for all Black belt categories including tie-breaks. White and blue belts will only be required
to do a Kata to the 1st Kiai. Flags will be used for lower grades and scorecards for higher grades.
For junior kata up to 4th Kyu, full repechage is implemented, so all entrants get a second chance for a bronze medal.
-Basics (Kihon) Details:5 punches forwards, turn and 5 kicks back.
-Timings: All teams on first 09:00 prompt on all 6
Areas. Junior and Adult
kata
from 09:25, Junior Kumite from
09:55, all junior categories below purple belt are
planned
to be completed by 12:30pm, higher grade juniors by 14:00, Adult and cadet kata starting
from 10:00, adult and cadet kumite to start from 13:00. A detailed schedule will be issued
after registrations close on 9th
November.
